| make | Ford | | model | taurus gl | | year | 1994 | | what | while driving my car, it cuts off when it gets hot. It seems as if it looses power and when I press the gas, it putts and then cut off. I let it sit for about 10 minutes and then it cranks back up, sometimes I have to repeat the same process over and over again. The temperature hand is on normal, the car is not smoking. I put a new fuel filter on last month. We checked the modulator and it is good and the hose. The psi for the fuel was 35 and 40 when we removed the top. Is it possible that I need a fuel pump? |
