| make | Ford | | model | Mustang GT | | year | 1987 | | what | I just got the car a few weeks ago and it ran ok but the fuel guage goes up and down once in a while and while it does that it like putters and smells like gas bad and wants to shut down,and if it does its like its flooded and wont start for like ten minutes. I put a new fuel filter and still did it so i checked if the fuel lines had pressure by taking that pressure cap off and pushed the pin in to see if it has good pressure and now it wont stay on it starts up and shuts right back off. Im thinking its the fuel pump but would it still have pressure? |
