| make | Ford | | model | f250 | | year | 1999 | | what | My alternator went out on my 1999 F250. I replaced it with a recomended alternator from auto zone. I have now replaced it twice because the battery light comes on. I also replaced my batterys when I replaced the alternator the first time. The battery light usually comes on when the lights are on. I was informed that auto zone does ot carry the quality of parts that I need for my heavy duty truck. Is this true, and will Napa carry the right alternator. Might there be another reason tht my alternator keeps going out? Thank you, Gail Sebile |
