| make | Ford | | model | 1997 | | year | 1997 | | what | dropped steering colum on my 1997 mustang gt and disconnected the three wire plugs just in case they would get damaged. put the colum back in place and plugged in the wire plugs and the engine starter ingages, but the car does not start and the starter stays ingaged no matter what position the key is in and you have to disconnect the battery to stop the starter I also had the key cylinder out to fix the warning bell which worked intermittently fixed that |
