1986 Ford Bronco Won't Start - Ignition System
Question: after shutting off truck, tryed to start it after 5 min it won't start, acts like battery dead, had batt. tested it was ok, drove it home shut it off and tryed to start it right away, nothing.no lights, no nothing. battery seems to be making hissing sounds too and is warm, tryed again in about 2 min. turned key, lights came on, won't crank, lights out.2 days before all this happaned had ignition box changed and starter solenoid, because would not start, it wound crank but not start. runs good when running.and another problem is some times try to start it, the starter stays engaged, turned key off still engaged, had to take batt. cable off, tryed to put cable back on (with key off)truck would crank over, I would keep trying and then it be ok.I have alway been able to start truck with out key in ignition.
