Technican: I imagine that you have the 1.9L engine which has an auto-tensioner on the belt (2.0L also has auto tensioner).You need a 3/8" ratchet and should insert it into the square tab on the tensioner ...then release pressure on belt by gently pulling the ratchet towards the front of the vehicle. Pop the belt off. Installation is reverse of this procedure. Owner: I actually found it--it was right where I had thought, but I just couldn't fit the ratchet in there, so I thought I might be wrong.
