Technican: Hello, The first thing that comes to mind is the transmission filters' condition. Is it clean? Is it installed properly? How old is the fluid (miles since last changed)?
Do you have a tachometer and do you note the engine seem to be running at higher RPM than it was before the 60 miles driven to go the same speed (an indication of slipping)?
What is the condition of the transmission cooling lines (kinked, bent, flattened, routing)? Have you verified fluid flow through the coolers to be normal?
Heat is real trouble for a transmission. Wear parts just won't tolerate much for long. I recommend you see a reputable shop that specializes in transmissions. They can check for diagnostic codes, fluid line pressure, and debris at the bottom of the transmission pan or caught on the filter screen.
