Technican: Not sure if you have an inline 6 or the V-8 but it does not matter because the location is the same. On the passenger side, down low on the engine is the starter. To replace the starter first start out by disconnecting the battery wire from the battery. Then there are 2 or 3 bolts that mount the starter to the bell housing. Lower the starter and remove the wires from the back of the solinoid. REMEMBER WHERE THEY GO FOR RE-INSTL! You may have to twist the starter around to get it out.. It will come out. .
