Technican: Hi;
This is what the codes are;
335 means EGR sensor voltage out of range
539 means A/C on during self-test
538 means Insufficient change in RPM/operator error in dynamic response check
326 is not in my code description.
332 EGR valve opening not detected
116 Coolant temperature sensor out of self-test range. The last code is the only one that would cause a problem. I would replace the temp sensor and try it again. . Owner: Would the coolant sensor failure cause the intermittant "failure to start when warm" problem that I described? Technican: Hi;
Yes it will. This is the only code you have that will cause something like this. Thanks. Owner: I will try to replace the sensor today. I will update you in two days. Technican: Hi:
No problem. Owner: I replaced the sensor and the problem is still there Technican: Hi;
Disconnect the battery for five minutes. Reconnect it and let the truck run for two minutes with it in reverse and holding the brake. Make sure no accessories are on. This should clear all the codes out of the computer. Drive it for about five minutes and rerun the test. Advise me of the results. Thanks. Owner: I will clear the codes and retest after the next failure since it happens daily. Technican: Hi:
OK no problem. Keep me advised. Thanks. Here's How To Get Guaranteed Solutions In Minutes
