Technican: Hi,
There is no simple trick, but only blood sweat and tears. It CAN be done in the vehicle. A jack under the transmission to tip it up and down may help. Also some extra long bolts can be screwed into the block to work as guides to direct the transmission for the last 3 inches. DO NOT FORCE THE TRANSMISSION WITH LONG BOLTS!
