1997 Ford Explorer Other - Engine
Question: Hello, there, my explorer is V6, Manual Trans, 170K-Kilometers,
It seems in my muffler, always have lot vapor, specially in a humid day.
Is some thing wrong with it? Can i make it better?
I changed my fuel filter already. Seems nothing changed.

Technican: Hello, There may not be anything wrong here. Does your engine warm up properly to a normal operating temperature?
Are you having to add coolant? Does the exhaust have the odor of coolant? This would be a sign of a headgasket leak allowing coolant into cylinder combustion chambers and out through the exhaust system.
If you are not having to add coolant and are not having performance issues, the check engine light is not on, vehicle runs fine...I wouldn't recommend doing anything to cure tailpipe vapor or drips of moisture from low points in the exhaust system.
