Owner: yes it is a Code CA-145 alarm that i bought from circuit city and had them install it. it is a alarm and remote start together. do you think that it could be the GEM. Technican: Can you give me the brand and model of the remote starter. Technican: Is this a factory or an aftermarket remote starter? Owner: this is a aftermarket remote start but i dont think it is that because i have had it for like 3 months and it hasnt ever done this before. and it only does the driver side front. but i dont know i just dont think it is that. Technican: It may be the GEM or a problem with the alarm interfering with the GEM. All the modules they put on cars now are troublesome enough. When you add aftermarket equipment you are testing the compatability between the two components.
I was unable to find any similar problems with the circuit city product and the explorer. It may cost more to diagnose (need ford diagnostic tools) and repair than it is worth. Having the window cracked an inch while the vehicle warms is not a bad idea in that it allows fresh air to enter the cabin. Here's How To Get Guaranteed Solutions In Minutes
