2003 Ford Explorer Malfunction - Electrical & Lighting Systems
Question: It seems my brake lights take turn burning out, however no bulbs have ever been burnt out. After I clean the connectors then the brake lights work for awhile, do you think it is a fuse? They both aren't out at the same time either, they take turns.

Technican: Hello, I don't think it is a fuse. A fuse issue would effect all of the brake lights at the same time.
Where are the connections you clean located? Inside the bulb sockets? Do the light bulb socket terminals have a curved profile to make a good contact with the bulb terminal wires?
Have you replaced the brake light bulb sockets? That is what I would do here. They are not big money.
