Second gear stays second and if I try to manual shift to drive it goes to first gear. I have park just not drive. We did have a problem with putting it in park it would go to far and stopped truck from starting. We changed the filter and fluid - looked fine. SOMETIMES WHEN I SHIFT FROM FIRST TO SECOND THE SHIFTER WILL HANG UP AND I HAVE TO GO THROUGH MANY UP AND DOWN MOTIONS TO BE ABLE TO GET THE TRANS TO GO INTO SECOND.. THE GEARS NEVER SLIP OUT OF GEAR ONCE I GET THEM IN. I SUSPECT LINKAGE OR STEERING COLUMN, BUT WOULD LIKE SOME ADVICE AND WHERE TO PURCHASE PARTS. THANX -- STEVE TEXAS |
