1987 Ford F-150 Pick-up Other - Fuel System
Question: Truck has two fuel tanks, both are full, shows empty on gage and real don't know if it is switching between tanks --- just bought this truck, runs fine with switch in either position. Please help

Technican: Ford had a problem with fuel going from one tank into the other, it had a recall on it, Check to see if thats been done.That would not cause your problem but would add to the confusion, I would say that your gauge is bad because the problem is the same with either tanks and the switchover valve would not cause this problem.
