Technican: Hello, Have you considered the fuel pressure regulator itself? A leaking injector can cause flooding, too. A fuel pressure leak down test will help guide your efforts.
To be more specific I need to know what engine your car has.
Please advise. Owner: 1991 ford mustang 302, have new pressure regulator. Technican: All right, Sir! Do you have access to a scanner to test the coolant temperature sensor (CTS) for accurracy? Wait a minute, did you call this the ECT for engine coolant sensor?
Do you have a fuel pressure gauge to check fuel rail pressure leakdown? Have you eliminated a leaking injector from the list of suspected causes?
I'll be going tomorrow where I can get to a good data base for trouble charts and symptom charts for your 302CuIn.
Any diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) showing up?
I'll try to get you the help you need, Technican: Hello, Please let me hear from you. Technican: Hello, Please let me hear from you.
