1991 Ford Mustang Failing - Engine

Question: I Have a 91 Mustang 2.3L EFI 5 speed that runs great with no check engine light, but shutsdown (like turning off the key) when driving. Makes no differance hot or cold engine, wet or dry days, sometimes runs for an entire day and quits on another day. It will restart after waiting 15min to 1hr. but this tends to make me late for work and doesn't go over well with the boss! Tested parts: Manifold Ignition Module (tested good) Replaced parts: 1.Fuel filer @ gas tank 2. Fuel pump & sock 3. Integrated Control Module (black) Pass. fender weld. (was told this has the fuel pump relay?) Any other ideas what could be making this shutdown?

Technican: I would say to keep a multi-meter handy for when the car decides to trip out again. it is possible that a code has been stored in the computer from the past failures, If it were a manifold ignition problem then there would be a stored code or for most other componets. having a diagnostic would not hurt your situation, this could bring out a few things, and in that case would be well worth it.
Technican: You must determine if your engine will not start because of lack of fuel or lack of spark. If fuel is the problem, check the fuel pump, pressure etc. If no spark, check the coil pack, and check for 12 volts to the coil as soon as you get a no start condition. I hope this helps
Owner: It's hard to trouble shoot either condition on the road when the car breaks down as it usually fix's itshelf or resets, or cools down after 15 min to an hour. I had it towed one time in a breakdown mode and by the time it got to the gararge it was running fine and backed it off the flatbed, they said the computer didn't find any thing wrong. Should I have the Manifold Ignition Moduale checked in a brokedown state? I've heard if the module is checked when the car is in a running state it will test good? Were there any problems with the emergency shut off swith in the trunk (reset)on this model? This intermittent problem is very difficult to track...I've just driven two day's with no problems but can't count on it not happening again. Sometimes the engine will shutdown for 5 seconds (faulter) when driving and then fire and continue driving as nothing happened?
