1995 Ford Mustang Malfunction - Electrical & Lighting Systems
Question: after my car is parked for a few days the battery goes completly dead all at once it goes from about 11volts to 3volts over night it is a brnd new battery the alternator is good i've checked it i was wondering if u had any ideas of where i should start
the next thing is that the lighting on all the window, lock buttons and the head ligh switch does not work any input u could give me would be graet thanks

It sounds like you have a slow battery drain, taking electric from your battery little by little. There is a way to test this! You must use an amp meter, disconnect the battery negative terminal, connect the amp meter between the battery negative cable and post and read the amount of amperage flowing when the key is off and everything is closed. If it is more than 50 mVolts, it is too much. If you have a reading over that, unplug fuses and relays 1 at a time and see when the amperage drops below the acceptable range. You can also unplug the alternator wires and see if it changes. Whne you have the circuit pinpointed, find what is on that circuit, unplug the items until you have found the culprit. Could be anything from an alarm to a lock switch to a bad alternator to a glove box lamp.......
