1995 Ford Mustang Overheating - Engine
Question: I have a 1995 Mustang with a 3.8 L and manual transmission. Six months or a year ago, the radiator was replaced because of a leak. Recently, I have noticed an odor of antifreeze outside the car after driving. The radiator appears to stay full, but the reservoir requires frequent filling. The temperature guage fluctuates wildly and the climate control never heats up appreciably. I have not noticed cloudiness in the oil, nor do I see white exhaust while at speed. I am a "shade tree mechanic." I have bought a thermostat under a hunch. If it does prove to be this, could you advise me as to the installation. Thanks in advance.
