1998 Ford Mustang Other - Electrical & Lighting Systems

Question: The power buttons on both doors won't unlock the doors, but will lock the doors. The radio suddenly stopped working so I pulled the fuses out one by one and they were all fine. After that the radio starting working. Then a couple of days later the radio stopped working...did the fuse check again (pulling them out and putting them back in place) and it came back on. Now it has stopped again and pulling fuses isn't working anymore. Where should I start to get these things workly properly?

Technican: Hello, I'll get a wiring diagram and get back to you today. Do you have any foreign object in a cigar lighter socket? Do you have a test light or meter to test fused circuits without removing the fuse from the fuse box? Back today,
Technican: Door Locks: Both of the Power Door lock Switches on your car use the drivers door lock switch as a path for ground whether activating "Lock" or "Unlock" feature. If the driver's door lock switch internal circuit to ground for the "Unlock" command fails, neither door lock switch will have a ground path for the door lock actuators to run. The ground path circuit for "Lock" command leaves the driver's door lock switch on Pin #1 (Black Wire) and goes through splice # S501 to Ground G302. The ground path for the "Unlock" command leaves the driver's door lock switch on Pin #5 (Black Wire) and goes through splice #S501 to Ground G302. Inspect your connections to the driver's door power lock switch for condition. If Pin #5 is clean and tight and will pass a continuity test to ground (with the switch disconnected) replace the switch assembly. I'm still studying the Radio issue. Do you have a fax number? Please advise.
Owner: Thank you, for your reply. Nope, there isn't anything in the cigarette lighter. And unfortunately, no, I don't have a tester for the fuses either.
Technican: Well, it will be difficult to go from here without some way of knowing whether or not the correct voltage is leaving the respective fuse and arriving at the component that it supplies. An inexpensive test light is available at Wal-Mart automotive department, Sears, and many auto parts stores. Where do you want to go next? I'm thinking that if the fuses are all good and they fit tight in the fuse panel, it's time to pull the radio head and see if power is present at the radio wiring connector. If it is (with the key "On") then the radio is suspect. Your thoughts?,
