1994 Ford Probe Chugging - General
Question: just recently i changed my alternator, my fuel cut-out light stays on all the time. Also two days ago my check engine light comes on randomly even with the engine light on or off. but when i accelerate the engine boggs down and dosen't want to go anywhere. when i punch it, it will bogg down for 15 seconds and then the revs will pick up then it will go. why does this happen and what can i do to fix it?

Most common causes of your symptoms are Mass Air Flow Sensor or Distributor or weak fuel pump. The ideal way would be to hook a scanner to the engine to read the codes and then go from there for diagnosis.
