1995 Ford Probe Won't Start - Fuel System

Question: I have been having trouble starting the car from a cold start. It'll turn over well but not fire. I've been able to get it to fire by trying to start it & then letting it sit for 3 to 5 minutes. Try it again, and it'll fire up with no problem. Until today that is...now that method won't even work. What are the possibilities that I need to look at for fixing it?

Technican: first try a can of starting fluid if it stats right up it is more likely a carburator related issue if it stil has problems you may want to start with a basic tune up that is usually a cure especially since it has gotten progressively worse.

Technican: check for a spark from the ignition coil to make sure you are getting fire if not with your key on check for power to the coil if there is power and no spark then change your coil
