Technican: The speed control sensor is located on the transmission near the rear of it. Look for the speedo-cable and there will also be an electrical conector. You will need to replace that assembly with a new one. When u do replace it, make sure you get the right one and compare the two to make sure they both have the same number of teeth. As far as the Antilock brk. problem is concerned....first thing, make sure you have all your brk. lights working, second, after you fix the prob. with the speedo, recheck the codes again as there may be a code for the antilock brakes in there as well. Does this vehicle have just rear ABS or does it have 4 wheel ABS? If it has 4 wheel ABS, the ABS should have it own Diagnostitic plug to retrieve codes. My guess, is the sensor located on top of the differential, if you have just rear ABS. Hope this helps, let me know of any more info that might help with this diagnoses.
