1992 Ford Ranger Other - Drive Train & Driveline

Question: i had to replace the manual transmission of a 1992 ford ranger, however the hydualic line from the master cylinder of the clutch to the quick disconnect of transmission was damaged (it is pressurized when you step on the pedal). I cannot figure out how to remove the line from the master cylinder. after reading thru three different books, talking to the ford dealership and multiple tool centers i am still no closer to figuring out how to detach the line!

Technican: Is there a roll pin that holds the line in place? Is a replacement line available without buying the whole unit? Let me know.
Owner: "Is there a roll pin that holds the line in place?" If there is a pin, it would be pretty small (<1/8 in.), hollow & recessed, but i cannot see it, but have tried pushing various tools into the hole to see if i could push any pin out.* "Is a replacement line available without buying the whole unit?" I have the replacement line, (it does not come with a pin). Also, You cannot buy the master cylinder with this LINE connected to it from Ford. "Let me know." *i can send a photos of the end of the new line & the how it connects to the master cylinder
Technican: Go ahead and send a photo please.
Technican: BTW- the roll pins can be hollow and close to the size of a pencils lead. Let's make sure, so no damage is done. Do you actually have the masters cylinder off? What did ford tell you?
Owner: Let's make sure, so no damage is done. "o you actually have the masters cylinder off? What did ford tell you?" The master cylinder is not off, The Ford parts salesman said that that places like NAPA would be able to sell ne a tool to take it off. While i realize that it maybe somewhat rare to replace this hose, NAPA people and others are unsure what to recommend, i even whet thru CRAFTSMAN and SNAP-ON website too no avail.
Technican: Here is a link to what I'm referring to. The example is not for a ford, but this is what I refer to as a "roll pin" typically found on clutch master cylinders. Please let me know if yours is different by design... and please confirm that you are trying to remove the hose from the master cylinder (which typically is held in by a pin) and not from the slave cylider (which is often a quick disconnect)?? chevyhiperformance.com/howto/39021/
