1990 Ford Taurus Malfunction - Fuel System
Question: Fuel pump, screen and filter is new. Injector pulses until engine fires and starts, then injector stops. Fuel pump is still operating. if the accelerator is pressed then it will accellerate fine no stuble or hesitation. The TPS, Idle Speed Control Motor are also new. The Manual that I have for this vehicle does not show any specific checks as to reading values on the TPS or the Idle Speed Control Motor. TPS output at basline idle is 1.4 volts, Half throttle is 2.5 volts and full throttle is 5.0 volts. There is little (.1 volt) or no adjustment on the TPS mounting. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
