Technican: Hello, What engine do you have, please? Does your car have A/C and rear window defog?
Please advise. Technican: Phil,
Your question is not stupid. There are to 3 wires to the alternator, 1 large black/orange going to the battery, 2 smaller wires from the voltage regulator white/black and orange/lightblue. The voltage regulator is often replaced with the alternator as well. (If a terminal is loose, it sounds like a defective alternator) Owner: thanks for your reply. i have a new alternator, but i dont know which wire im missing, the terminal is the rear one as viewed from the vehicle front. Technican: Do you have 3 wires already connected to the alternator? It should have 2 wires in one connector and a thick wire connected as well. If they are all there, you may have a defective alternator or voltage regulator. Here's How To Get Guaranteed Solutions In Minutes
