1992 Ford Taurus Other - General

Question: blinking air bag light..blinks 3 times..then off for one second..then blinks twice...then off for 3 seconds and pattern repeats throughout the driving session. when it happens, it happens as soon as engine started. happens about 3 out of 5 starts/driving sessions. 2 out of 5 times, no blinking noted other than the short steady light at start. What and where can I check/troubleshoot?
