Technican: you have a posible shorted brake or tail lamp replace the correct bulb and the fuse will hold Owner: I just checked the tail lights they appear to be all in working order. Could there be a short from the brake pedal to the lights? Technican: did fuse # 1 start blowing before or after you replaced the switch?
after you replace the fuse and attempt to step on the brake does the fuse blow out at that time or is it when you attempt to put it into gear?
there is a lock out switch right at the shifter also that may be shorted it is a solenoid that disengages the shifter so it can be moved into gear
that must be checked out and could very well be the problem area Technican: Hello
Were you able to take care of that problem? and were you able to use my advise?
do you still need more info?
