1997 Ford Taurus Hesitating - Fuel System
Question: My car starts hesitating only while driving and only when the engine is completely warm. I had the codes checked and it indicated a misfire on three cylinders #6 and I believe #4 and #5 as well. The wires were inspected and looked fine and I had new motorcraft plugs installed. The hesitation still occurs.
The hesitation becomes so bad that I can not maintain speed. I am able to accelerate again after pulling over restarting the car before the hesitation occurs again.
Thanks

Technican: Hi;
Sounds like you have a vaccuum leak on the left side of the engine, or a shorted wiring harness to the fuel injectors on that side. All diagnostics are telling me that you are either not getting enough fuel or the injectors are misfiring. . Here's How To Get Guaranteed Solutions In Minutes
