Question: I cannot start my 2000 Ford Taurus. When I attempt to start the car, all I get is a clicking sound.

Check your battery and then the starter relay for loose connections or corroded connections. Also check the connection at the starter and the ground connection going to the block. If all of this shows up good you can test your wires by using a set of jumper wires. Connect one end to the battery negative and the other to the block.Then if this does not help try the opposite and connect one end of the jumper wire to the possitive and the other to the starter relay. .
