1993 Ford Tempo Malfunction - Electrical & Lighting Systems

Question: My horn is not working and I assume that is an electrical problem, also my two front windows won't roll down electrically either. Inside the dashboard, where there is a button to push to open the trunk-that doesn't open anymore either-is that electrical? How much will it cost roughly to fix all these things? The power windows are all four powered by Circuit Breaker #12 (20 amp) located in the fuse block. It is likely one of the control switches has failed. Do you have an ohm meter for testing? The horn is powered by Fuse #16 in the fuse block. Also in the fuse block you'll find the horn relay. If they are both good the problem can be the Slip Ring in the steering column, the wiring to, or the horns themselves. Do you have a 12 volt test light? The trunk release button/switch in the glove box should have 12 volts dc present on one of the two wires in the connector. When the button is pressed the power should pass through the switch on the other wire and go to the release actuator on the trunk latch. If power gets to the actuator on the trunk but nothing happens the actuator is disconnected or defective. Please advise.
