1994 Ford Thunderbird Malfunction - Drive Train & Driveline
Question: Overdrive does not kick in on my 1994 T-Bird, otherwise the trans work fine. The O/D light does not turn on/off when I push the switch. How can I check the O/D switch to determine whether the switch is the problem? Thanks!!

Technican: The overdrive in your transmission is controlled by a temperature sensor on the engine. If the engine temperature is too cold, it will not go into overdrive.
if the engine temperature gets too cold, it will drop it out of overdrive replacing the thermostat in your car with a 195 degree one.
