Technican: Your O2 sensors arnt the problem... you have a vacuum leak at the rear of the engine on your PCV hose....there is a Tee fitting at the base of the throttle body housing that attaches to the intake.. the rubber rots and you can also hear it.... ASE Master Tech Owner: THE PBC VVE VACUUM HOSE IT NOT EVEN RUN THE WAY HE DESCRIBED IT. I FAILED EMISSION AND MY QUESTION WAS WHERE WAS BANK 1 AND BANK 2 ON MY 97 FORD T-BIRD LX 4.6V8 SO I COULD REPLACE THE 02 SENSORS THAT WERE OUT.
PLEASE REFUND MY MONEY OR ANSWER MY QUESTION PROPERLY.

PAT FORD Technican: The bank 1 and 2 sensors are the ones located in the exhaust manifolds.The ones in the cat assy are similar in build to the HEGO sensors, but are referred to as "catalyst monitors" Hope this helps.
