1998 Ford Windstar Other - EngineQuestion: last night while parked(and running)on a slightly sloped driveway, the engine started running a little rough and the engine light began flashing. I moved the vehicle to level ground and the engine seemed to smoothe out but the light went to a steady on. the engine seems to be running fine now but the light is staying on. I heard several years ago that you could short out the port where they plug in the diagnostic computer and the lights would blink in a pattern to indicate the problem. I think I tried it on a Buick Regal and blew a fuse. I don't think I want to try it on the Windstar. Here's How To Get Guaranteed Solutions In Minutes
