1994 Ford mustang 3.8hear it is, my mustang will run fine one day then like crap other days. my fuel pump cycles continuosly and when i try to start the car its flooded. if it does start black smoke. sometimes the fuel pump just stays on altogether resulting in a no start. replaced ccrm or pcm depending on what you no it as, problem solved or so i thought, when driving it does the same thing but my check engine light flashes like crazy along with the battery light. no power or dies altogether.no answers anywhere on the net help please
1999 Ford f250My alternator went out on my 1999 F250. I replaced it with a recomended alternator from auto zone. I have now replaced it twice because the battery light comes on. I also replaced my batterys when I replaced the alternator the first time. The battery light usually comes on when the lights are on. I was informed that auto zone does ot carry the quality of parts that I need for my heavy duty truck. Is this true, and will Napa carry the right alternator. Might there be another reason tht my alternator keeps going out? Thank you, Gail Sebile
1990 Ford Bronco II Bronco II V6 5 Spd EFIOk I have a 1990 Ford Bronco II 5 spd V6 EFI. The starter will not stop engaging even after the engine is running. I have replaced the starter solenoid, Positive battery cable, Starter, I have removed the ignition system as best as I could out of the equation. But the only way I can stop the starter is by pulling the key, setting the shifter in 5th gear, and removing the neg cable. I have been beating my head against this issue for a week now. any advice would be very helpful. Thank you.

1990 Ford taurus wagonwell my dashlights went out so i went and checked the fuses and i found a couple broking ones. so i changed them and i ended up with another blown fuse so i tryed putting in a 10 amp and the switch was still on and when i was putting in the fuse it sparked and i shut the switch off and put it in and still had nothing. but now i dont have parking lights or dashlights and tail lights do you know what may be wrong please help me need lights if you you know what i mean

My question is: Can I used the rear tank from the 1987 in the 1988 with out changing the pump in the rear tank before installing it in the 1988, or must I Change the pump. Thanks
1986 Ford mustangi have a 1986 gt 5.0 h.o there is chugging in the lower rmps, put it to the floor & it takes a second but clears out n takes off. the ford techs say to fix all leaks in exahust that start b4 the O2 sensors. & make sure all vacume lines are in tact. also if im just cruising at any speed and i push the clutch in and turn off the car n turn it back on real quick it runs fine for about 2 minutes. any one else having these same issues?

The throttle is revving @ 2000 rpms, after warm-up and drivng. I can turn off the ignition and restart and it idles fine...take-off and stop and idles @ 2000 rpms again. 93 Ford taurus shoi have a 93 ford taurus sho 3.2 dohc i was driving down the road and the car staled it was the battery so i bought a new one i put it in and i drove maybe 5 miles before i relized the lights were diming it was doing it agian so i had the altinator tested it was bad i replaced it and bought the life time warranty well i put it in and it still wont charge. Me and my dad have went threw the wireing to check all grounds and or loose connections we found the wire from the starter syloinoid to the altinator was burned off at the altinator so we replaced it and it seemed to charge at about 12 to bout 12.4 at its highist and when u open a door or turn the heater on the battery light would start comeing on and it would not charge any more so we thought we had to small of a wire on there so we got i think its a 6 gadge wire and now same thing happens still execpt now when u rev the engine up the battery light comes on please help

1994 Ford 1994 Ford ExplorerI have a 1994 Ford Explorer which has an intermittent starting problem. Sometimes when I turn the key to the start position nothing happens. All the proper lights go on in the dash but the starter motor does not turn over. When this happens I sometimes hold the key in the start position and then the car starts right up. Other times I have to let the key go back to run and try the start position numerous times before the motor fires up. When it does start there is no hesitation, it fires right up. I suspect the actual ignition switch itself. I have been told there are points inside it and after many years the points get corroded. My question is: can I replace the ignition switch itself without removing the key cylinder? Looking at the manual it appears that if I remover the steering wheel, the upper and lower covers, and nothing else; that I can remove and replace the switch. Am I correct?

I have had the rotor, distributor cap, plugs, wires, fuel filter changed and this did not help. I have checked the ar filter and it lookd clean. I had the ignition module checked at autozone, it check good. I have replaced the coil, the fuel pressure regulator and the Idle control switch. I still have the problem.
